Job Summary

We are actively seeking knowledgeable, outgoing, and highly approachable individuals to join our sales floor team. As an entry-level Floor Associate, you will be stationed in key departments like Hardware, Paint, or Seasonal. You will serve as a project ambassador, delivering the signature inspiration and helpfulness that sets The Home Depot apart in the home improvement industry. This is an engaging role perfect for those who love DIY projects and interacting with people.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Proactive Engagement: Approach browsing customers in the aisles to offer personalized project advice, locate specific tools, and suggest necessary materials.
• Department Upkeep: Execute continuous floor recovery, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, products are faced forward, and displays are neat and clean.
• Service Execution: Perform department-specific services safely, such as mixing custom paint, cutting blinds, cutting wire/chain, or duplicating keys.
• Cross-Selling: Suggest complementary products (e.g., paint rollers with paint, screws with power drills) to build customer baskets and ensure they only have to make one trip.
