Job Summary
We are actively seeking trustworthy, detail-oriented individuals to manage our store's cash flow. As a Bookkeeper, you will reconcile cash drawers, prepare bank deposits, and manage petty cash accounts. You will serve as the financial anchor of the store, delivering the signature precision that sets Micro Center apart in the electronics retail industry. Comprehensive Responsibilities
- Till Management: Issue starting cash funds to front-end cashiers, and count down their drawers at the end of their shifts to ensure perfect balance.
- Banking Operations: Prepare and verify daily secure bank deposits, coordinating with armored car services for safe and timely pickups.
- Petty Cash & Expenses: Manage the store's petty cash fund, reimbursing associates for approved small store purchases and maintaining receipts.
- Discrepancy Investigation: Research instances of cash over/short, reviewing register journals and CCTV footage to identify the source of the error.
