Job Summary

We are actively seeking friendly, incredibly outgoing, and reliable individuals to join our Front of Store team. As an entry-level Greeter, you will be the welcoming face of Safeway, entrusted with managing the entrance, offering sanitized carts, and directing traffic. You will serve as a hospitality ambassador, delivering the signature joy and efficiency that sets us apart in the grocery retail industry. This is a highly social, standing role perfect for those who love interacting with their community.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Warm Welcomes: Stand near the main entrance to greet every customer with a smile and a hello, and thank them for shopping with us as they exit.
• Cart & Basket Sanitation: Ensure a steady supply of clean, sanitized shopping carts and hand baskets are immediately available for entering guests.
• Store Navigation: Act as an informational hub, answering quick customer questions regarding product locations, weekly ad specials, and restroom locations.
• Entrance Maintenance: Keep the store vestibule immaculate, wiping down glass doors, sweeping up debris, and ensuring safety mats are flat and secure.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to stand in a limited area for extended periods and comfortably push small lines of shopping carts.
