Job Summary

We are actively seeking energetic, outgoing, and highly approachable individuals to join our sales floor team. As an entry-level Floor Associate, you will be stationed in key departments like Coats, Home Goods, or Shoes. You will serve as an apparel ambassador, delivering the signature neatness and helpfulness that sets Burlington apart in the off-price retail industry. This is an engaging role perfect for those who love staying active and interacting with people.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Proactive Engagement: Approach browsing customers in the aisles to offer shopping carts, locate specific sizes, and assist with finding hidden gems.
• Department Upkeep: Execute continuous floor recovery, ensuring clothing racks are sized properly, hangers are aligned, and the shoe department is clear of hazards.
• Freight Placement: Assist the receiving team by taking rolling Z-racks of newly tagged apparel and rapidly placing them on the correct sales floor fixtures.
• Fitting Room Support: Monitor the fitting rooms, sort unwanted items quickly, and run them back to their appropriate departments to maximize sales.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age (with valid work permit) or 18 years of age upon application.
• No prior retail or apparel experience required—we will teach you the merchandising standards you need to succeed.
• Must possess a genuine passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, and a highly friendly demeanor.
• Physical capability to stand, walk on hard floors, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds continuously during a shift.
